How to download e-PAN card online – Step by Step 

Nowadays, e-PAN card download has very easy, and the process is hassle-free for both Indians and NRIs. Both entities can easily download e-PAN card online. It is valid for a lifetime and is very important. It is issued to prevent tax evasion by individuals and entities as it links all the financial transactions made by a particular individual or entity.

WHAT IS e-PAN?

e-PAN is a digitally signed PAN card issued in electronic format by the Income Tax Department using Aadhaar e-KYC. This facility is available to individual PA applicants who have been allotted an Aadhaar number by the Unique Identification Authority of India(UIDAI) and is required to file a PAN application in Form 49A being an Indian citizen. Except for Minors and others covered U/S 160 of Income Tax Act, 1961. It is to be noted that foreign citizens can’t apply for e-PAN using Aadhaar e-KYC.

WHAT IS THE COST OF PAN?

The cost of PAN Card ranges between Rs. 110 to Rs. 1,020 (approximately), depending upon the place for dispatch.

WHO ARE ELIGIBLE TO DOWNLOAD e-PAN?

1) Resident type – Indian or NRI.
2) The applicant must have an updated Aadhaar.
3) Valid mobile number, which must be registered to the Aadhaar Card.
4) The applicant must be an individual taxpayer.
5) All international individuals engaged in a foreign-investment company by Indian Subsidiary.

HOW TO UPDATE/EDIT PAN DETAILS?

1. Go to the NSDL website and select the “update PAN section.”
2. Select the option “Correction” in existing PAN data.
3. A copy of (POI/POA) supporting documents is required.

DOWNLOAD e-PAN CARD BY AADHAAR NUMBER

REQUIREMENTS

1. Valid Aadhaar and the mobile number of PAN applicants should be registered with Aadhaar.
2. Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is not required to apply using Aadhaar e-KYC.
3. No physical copy of the KYC application or proof of Aadhaar card is required.
4. No in-person verification required.
5. A scanned image of an applicant’s signature has to be uploaded with the following specifications:

• • Resolution – 200 DPI
  • Type – Colour
  • File type – JPEG
  • Size – Maximum 10 KB
  • The dimension of signature – 2cm × 4.5 cm(only name to scanned).

STEPS

1. Visit https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in and click on the “Instant PAN through Aadhaar” section under “Quick Links” on the left side.
2. Click on “Get New PAN” on the new page.
3. Enter your Aadhaar number for the allotment of the new PAN card and the Captcha code to generate an OTP on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
4. Validate OTP, Aadhaar details, and email address as well.
5. The e-KYC date of that Aadhaar number is exchanged with the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), after which you will be allotted with an instant e-PAN. The entire process is not supposed to take more than 10 minutes.
6. You can download your PAN in pdf format by submitting the Aadhaar number at “Check Status/Download PAN.” You will also get the PAN in PDF format in your email if your email id is registered with the Aadhaar database.

It is to be noted that the facility is available only to those who have never been allotted a PAN before. This facility is not available to minors.

e-PAN CARD DOWNLOAD BY PAN NUMBER

REQUIREMENTS

1. Updated Aadhaar Card.
2. I updated the Residential address.
3. Visit https://www.tin-nsdl.com (NSDL website) or https://www.utiitsl.com (UTIITSL website).

STEPS

1. Click on “Download e-PAN Card” (for PAN allotted older or more than 30 days), which you will get on the homepage of the NSDL portal.
2. For the UTIITSL portal, click on “PAN Card services,” and on the next page, click on “Download e-PAN.”
3. Enter your PAN number, Aadhaar number, DOB, GSTIN (if available)
4. Read and fill Captcha code and recheck all provided details and submit them.
5. Click on generate OTP, after which an OTP will be delivered to your registered mobile number and email address.
6. Enter OTP on the required box and click to start the validation process.
7. After the validation process is over, click on “Download PDF.” The downloaded pdf format of e-PAN is secured with a password, and the password is your Date of Birth (DOB).

DOWNLOAD e-PAN CARD NSDL

1. Visit https://www.tin-nsdl.com.
2. Click on “Download e-PAN Card” (for PAN allotted older or more than 30 days), which is located on the homepage.
3. Enter your PAN number, Aadhaar number, DOB, and GSTIN (if applicable).
4. Read the Captcha code and enter it on the given box.
5. Click on “Submit” for the OTP process.
6. OTP will be delivered to your registered mobile number and email address.
7. Validate OTP and other details.
8. After the validation process is over, click on “Download PDF.“
9. The downloaded pdf format is secured with a password, and your Date of Birth is the password.

DOWNLOAD e-PAN CARD UTIITSL

1. Visit https://www.utiitsl.comhttps://www.utiitsl.com.
2. Click on “PAN services.“
3. Click on “Download e-PAN Online,” enter your PAN number, Aadhaar number, DOB, GSTN (if applicable).
4. Read the Captcha code and enter it in the given box.
5. On the new page, mention your ten-digit alphanumeric PAN number.
6. Mention your Date of Birth relevant to your documents.
7. Mention GSTIN if required.
8. Read the Captcha code and mention it in the given box.
9. Review all provided details and submit them.
10. A link will be delivered to your mobile number and email address.
11. Click on the link, and you can download the e-PAN Card online using the OTP.

e-PAN CARD DOWNLOAD APPLICATION

1. Search for “PAN Card Download App – status/track, correction” in Play Store or Appstore and install it, it is available for both Android and iOS users.
2. Run the app and select NSDL PAN Card or UTIITSL PAN Card as per your choice.
3. Tap on “Download e-PAN Card.”
4. You will be directed to another page, where you have to click on “Go to Site” which will redirect you to the official website of NSDL or UTIITSL as per your choice.
5. Mention your 15 digit acknowledgment number.
6. Read the Captcha code and fill the same in the given box.
7. Click on “Submit” for the OTP process.
8. OTP will be delivered to your registered mobile number and email address.
9. Enter the OTP on the given box, and you will be directed to a page from where you can download the e-PAN Card if it initiated, or you can check the status of it on the same page.
